Caption reads "Ferndale resident and restaurateur Curley Tait (second from the left) joins the "Chicago Seven, plus a few friends," on stage at College of the Redwoods Saturday evening during a reunion concert. Tait, back in the early '60s, managed a Chicago nightclub where many of the artists sang. The concert was attended by several hundred and wrapped up with a "jam" session into the early morning hours back at Curley's Bar & Grill. If all goes well, the group could be back next year for an encore concert. From left: Kenny Hodges, Curley Tait, Guy Guilbert, Larry Ramos, Laurie Lewis, Bobby Buchanan, Leslie Sahlen, Ginni Clemmens (behind Sahlen), Spanky McFarlane, Bobby Sahlen (behind McFarlane), John Brown, G.W. Keyl, Marco McClure, Ethan Kenning, Peter Childs. |
